Fantastic Mountaintop House Not to be Missed!!
If you are looking for an amazing mountain getaway, this home is for you. You will be amazed by the fantastic porch overlooking incredible views. The pictures do not do this home justice. While the drive to the top is quite steep, once arriving you will find it to be well worth the trip. The home was extremely clean, had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of room to accommodate our party of 12 very comfortably. We were even able to enjoy the outdoor space in the rain thanks to the side covered porch. Most importantly, the owners went above and beyond to make our stay a weekend to remember. We have rented many VRBO properties and the owners of "At the Top" were the most gracious, accommodating, and hospitable owners we have ever experienced. We look forward to returning again!

"Perfect Mountain Getaway"
My husband and I really enjoyed spending the month of July in this cabin. It was surprisingly spacious, clean and well stocked with everything imaginable! The kitchen had really nice new appliances, and all of the dishes, stemware, pots and pans, etc. that one could have asked for. Nice bathrooms too, with plenty of towels and supplies we didn't expect.. We enjoyed the comfortable king bed and 2 big screen tv's. The outside wrap around deck was perfect for enjoying the wonderful North Carolina weather. Located in the Linville Land Harbor community, where everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. We were invited to participate in multiple neighborhood gatherings! During our stay we had fun hiking the trails, playing golf and playing pickleball. There seemed to be endless opportunities for activities. Many thanks to owners Debby and Art, and yes, we'd come back to this house in a heartbeat!!

"Cozy, Quiet Hideaway"
This little place was a perfect getaway for our family of four. All the benefits of being in a cabin/cottage but with a community feel. The place was well stocked with everything we could need! Great wrap around porch with a Chimenea (start up firewood provided) and some cover for those rainy nights. Brand new heaters in each room that worked amazingly well for chilly nights. Beds were so comfortable with extra blankets! Grocery store was a little bit of a distance away but a beautiful drive so that made up for it! Debbie checked in with us and provided us with current happenings in the area so we wouldn’t miss a thing! Area has so many trails for hiking and just a short trip into Blowing rock and Boone! We will be back! Art and Debbie have thought of everything to make a vacation fun and worry free!

My partner and I had the best stay at the Mountain View Loft! From the moment we arrived, we were stunned by the surroundings and the cozy loft itself. The views truly live up to their name, and we spent countless hours on the deck, watching the clouds dance around the valley below. The loft was immaculate, comfortable, and provided the perfect ambiance for our romantic getaway. We explored the nearby hiking trails and waterfalls during the day and returned to the loft in the evening to enjoy a glass of wine by the fire pit, under the starry skies. The location was ideal for accessing all the attractions in the area, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise.

The loft itself was beautifully decorated, and every detail had been thoughtfully considered to ensure a memorable stay. We were spoiled with convenience and adventure, as the location was a perfect base for exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains and nearby attractions. Hiking in the Linville Gorge and visiting the Linville Caverns were definite highlights of our trip. Evenings were a delight as we watched the sun set behind the mountains. The experience of sitting around the fire pit under the starry night sky is one we will remember forever. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, offering excellent recommendations and making us feel right at home.
